The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) declared the results of the Bihar Board 10th examination for the year 2020 on May 26, 2020.
Students who had appeared for the examination could check their results online by entering their roll number and roll code on the official website of the board.
The Bihar Board 10th examination was conducted from February 17 to February 24, 2020.
More than 15 lakh students had registered for the exam. The examination was held across various centers in the state of Bihar.
As per the results announced by the BSEB, a total of 12,04,030 students had appeared for the Bihar Board 10th examination in 2020,
out of which 7,29,213 students had passed the exam. The overall pass percentage was 80.59%, which was an improvement from the previous year’s pass percentage of 80.73%.
The pass percentage of girls was slightly higher than that of boys, with 81.50% girls passing the exam as compared to 79.91% boys.
The top three districts in terms of pass percentage were Rohtas (97.06%), Aurangabad (95.91%), and Nawada (95.76%).
The BSEB had also announced the names of the toppers for the Bihar Board 10th examination in 2020. Himanshu Raj from Janta High School,
Rohtas, had topped the examination with a score of 481 out of 500. Durgesh Kumar from Shri Harivansh Narayan Singh High School in Samastipur had secured the second position
with a score of 480 out of 500, while Shubham Kumar from Shree Govind High School, Lakhisarai, had secured the third position with a score of 478 out of 500.
